command + ` (tild key)
- How to switch between multiple windows of different applications?
command + tab
- How to get the functionality of backspace (like in windows) ?
Backspace key in windows = Delete key in MAC
Delete key in windows = fn + Delete key in MAC

Checkout VirtualBox if you want to run Windows on your new Macbook. I prefer VBox over VMware for ease of use, besides, it’s open-source.
