tHe AlcHeMISt

I read the much aclaimed and popular book – THE ALCHEMIST. The book was a gift to my dad from a friend and he had read only a few pages before he asked me to read it. He was all praises about it and said to me that you learn something new everytime you read the book. Well, let me just say that for the first time … it seemed like a lot of someone thinking out loud. It is not a bad read, I mean you do learn a few things along the way but I dont know if I will have the desire to read it again … the book talks about following your dreams and believing in yourself etc etc … not really my kind of book … i could only read an article about it, the book seemed too much … the book started off slow but picked up after a few pages … reading near the end was a much better experience than the beginning … hehe … Final verdict, if you have the time to read the book – give it a try atleast once. Hope you enjoy it more than I did
